Yahoo Australia published article about Sam Worthington back to his home town, West Australian to start film 70s surf epic Drift in nearby Nannup.

Sam said can’t compared between LA and WA and admits it “absolutely nice” to be back in West Australian.

“One’s ridiculous and filled with lots of cars and traffic and one’s the most beautiful place on earth,” he said.

Worthington said his mates were what he missed most while living away.

He said he jumped at the chance to spend more time with good friend Myles Pollard, who is set to star in Drift. “I’ve known Myles for years and it’s great to work with friends . . . this is really his little baby,” he said.
