Mtv.com published interview with Sam Worthington which he talk about ‘Patriots’ And ‘Damaged’ Comics and other project
In addition to The Last Days of American Crime, Worthington and discussed the plot points of their two new releases, “Damaged,” and “Patriots.” “Damaged” being a gritty Dirty Harry-style story with heavy “Punisher” influences, and “Patriots” being more epic.
“With Patriots, the basic idea was that if ["Damages"] is your intimate graphic novel or comic book, this one we wanted to go epic” Worthington explained. “As Barry [Levine] said, “Go for it, whatever you want to put down.” The premise is if you’ve got seven continents in the world and you have to sacrifice one of these continents to save the other six, would you do it? … So when it comes to it, we’re just dealing with things that we like in comic books and that affect our lives – especially with Damaged and the brothers thing.”
Speaking about their relationship with Radical Publishing, Worthington’s words were all praise. “[This] is a studio and company that strives for excellence,” he said. “Of course three young Aussies want to be a part of that.”
